I am used to having FMM prompt me to overwrite files but do not see Vortex asking me this on FOMOD files. This is the main problem I am having using Vortex. You might want to disable the Steam ingame overlay under settings which might fix the problem. Have installed Darnified UI + Hot Fix (version a11 FOMOD) through Vortex and all seems to be working fine except the font size.

Regardless, I've already told you, try BT Mod, that's the other one that tends to come up if you look for a UI mod for Oblivion, but I've not personally used it as I tested DarNified first and decided to stick with it There's also DarkUI, but the non-DarN version is listed by the mod author as outdated and probably not stable, and superceded by the DarkUId DarN I think this is a standalone mod, so you wouldn't have to re-install DarNified, but I think I did try to install this at one point and had some sort of trouble with it, can't remember what, think it basically just wouldn't install.
